The problem
In older CAD, every copy is dead.
Markers and notches are transferred by hand, one by one — and mistakes end up in the stitching room. In Pattern Digitizer, everything that belongs together stays together.

What it does
Draw once. Everything else follows.
Trace
Scan a handmade cardboard pattern: contours, corners, markers and notches are recognised and created as real, editable objects.
Live mirror and unfold
The mirrored copy stays connected to the original. Every change appears in the mirror instantly.
Copy a part with everything on it
Transfer a complete part with all markers, notches and stitches to another part or to the opposite side — mirrored if needed. Every copy stays editable.
Dependent lines
Move a base line and everything derived from it follows in real time. Delete it, and the dependants go too — the pattern stays consistent.
Variable seam allowances
Fixed or variable allowances that glide along a line, for example tapering from 8 mm to 4 mm.
Also in Pattern Digitizer
-
Clean curves from a few points, easy to adjust later.
-
Lines become parts with a contour; each part knows its allowances, folds and markers.
-
The tools a pattern maker actually uses — matched on both parts that are sewn together later.
-
Parts, lines and notches are taken over 1:1. Decades of pattern archives become usable again.
-
Export prepared for the cutting equipment common in the industry.
